Well let's see here, GC beat Castlewood by 5 with Fisher not playing and Gate City lost by how many in the title game?? Fisher is [censored] sure good for that 5 plus whatever GC lost by [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

You need to point out GC beat Castlewood by 5 on their home court also. How would the game have turned out on a neutral court or at GC? All I know is that on a neutral court J.R. beat Castlewood by 5 and then was trounced by Clarke Co. in the semis. Heck, you can speculate all you want. How about this one, Castlewood would beat ETSU by 15 at Castlewood if Fisher was healthy. It's speculation, you can't prove they couldn't while I can't prove they could. Ok... now... you are saying that VTHokie22 and Hokie people are nothing but cowtipping whatever the censor thing is? Ok... you live in Ewing, Virginia or live in the area I take it... where I would think the cattle population has to be more than the people living there. So... hold up on that point.

Now.... VTHokie22... he's my boy and I'm pretty dang sure that he being at Virginia Tech pretty much says he has a few smarts about him. They dont let just any cowtippers in there... I know that for a fact.

Now another thing... Fisher was good yes. Castlewood ran a lot of things through him... yes. But he was not the entire team. Just because GC beat Castlewood by 5 does not mean anything at all. You have to realize... GC trailed Clarke County by double digits before making a huge run and taking the lead on them.... something I believe they did to Castlewood in the same manner AND in the same fashion... AND that is without Fisher.

Now it wasnt ONE player that caused Clarke County to come back and win the state title game...it was the entire team. Castlewood made a run as well.. but GC was able to hold off the run.

So... before you go saying all this about they beat this team by that much or anything else... realize what went on during the game as well before you start making accusations.

You may be a good looking guy and you may have a hot girlfriend.. but just because I'm an ugly guy doesnt mean I cant take your woman from you. You could be a real [censored] and I could be a real gentleman and I could make a run on her and show her how a real woman would be treated and you may get left out in the cold. Now does that mean that all ugly people would steal your girlfriend... no. It just means that in every game.. there will always be a different system that is used. Now... if some ugly guy comes up to your gf and he is a [censored] like you.. well... he wont have a chance because all she will see is you. But if another ugly guy likes myself... comes up to her and is really nice and treats her real sweet and she starts to realize she is better than what she is being treated like... well.. then you may get lost in the game yourself.

So... just because James River barely beat you guys and then got beat by Clarke by nearly 30 doesnt mean anything. By that......you might as well say that Clarke County, Gate City, and Altavista would beat James River by 30 if they played them and then ......well.......they would then beat Castlewood by 35 by your logic. So..... by your logic... Fisher definitely wasnt missed that much if Castlewood led Gate City by double digits only to fall to Gate City's last quarter run.... a run which they made on Clarke County as well who had the same lead on them by Castlewood only they were able to come back and win the game.

Gate City did the same thing to George Wythe and also to Altavista.... each time they made last quarter runs on the team.... so by your logic....... Castlewood, George Wythe, Altavista and Clarke County were all better than Gate City... but only the Blue Devils came back and won all those games... except Clarke County.... and that is also including Castlewood WITHOUT Fisher... yes he was a good player... but the more you talk about this guy the more you take away from the exceptional players that Castlewood did have.

I'm pretty sure one person DOESN'T make a difference. They hadn't lost without him up until that point and I'm sure Hackney isn't the only player at GC that is good. Tihlee, Salyer, Bays just to name a few. We (GC) beat Castlewood period and that's that. Castlewood had four other guys out there that were good too so don't blame their loss on Fisher being out. It's as simple as this: GC won and Castlewood lost. Nuff said.
